Google Video Reaction

Google is becoming a very big company but I don't agree that it will ever get dangerous to your privacy to use. Google is very good at not giving out your information. Google is my favorite search engine and knowing that for me using there product that I must give information in return isn't gonna effect how much I use there product. It is an extremely useful tool. One thing I learned from this video is that YouTube is owned by Google, I thought it was its own company. Google phones run Android software which is getting pretty popular, but it will never be as good or even close to as good as any Apple product!!!!:D

In this video he is saying that ideas don't just come to you in a sudden instance, they take time and focus to come up with good ideas. He also says a lot of good ideas come from more than one person having a half or a quarter of a good idea and they come together and form one good idea.

For the use of the internet to be free we have to give out information, for example the only way businesses on the internet can make money if they are a free service is ads. They advertise other companies products on their site so they can make money. Another way to make money is for a website to keep track of everything the user searches for or does on their product. When they keep all of that information they use it to figure out what the most popular product is out there and what people are searching for and interested in. They then sell that information to other companies so they can make more money and curve they products to what people want. For now the information that sites are taking is not a big deal. Its not a big deal because they do not release any of that information to the general public. The only thing they are using your information for is to make money, so they don't get personal and use just use your information they use the information as a mass, as all of the public at once. In that case you don't have to worry about people snooping at what you do because that's not what they are trying to do. In my opinion the amount of information that the internet takes from you is reasonable. Its nothing to freak out about I mean that's the price you pay for it being free.

Music Licensing Response

This article is about how all music that we listen to is licensed. Someone has to pay real money for us to listen to our music and a lot of the times we have to pay for it ourselves, like if you download it off of Itunes. $1.29 per song is a little too much to pay. I personally think that Itunes needs to lower the price of there music because it being so expensive just makes people turn to downloading it illegally.

Reaction to Internet Revolution Video

In this video many of the people that they interviewed thought that the internet was starting to head in the wrong direction. I think that it is heading in the right direction. There is nothing wrong with there being people in charge on the internet. like on wikipedia. if there wasn't someone in charge that checked over the information it could be giving out a lot of false information. It would be chaos if there were not people in charge and making sure everything stays the way it should.

Internet Privacy Blog

This video was about why you need to be careful of what your privacy settings are on Facebook and how to do that. Just like most users of Facebook I have never looked at Facebook's Privacy Policy. I am not really worried about the information and photos i have on my Facebook because i am only friends with people i know and my privacy settings are all on friends only so i keep it pretty safe.
